Installation Guide
Follow these universal installation guidelines for optimal sensor performance. Pay special attention to the active sensing region placement:

Dro Active Sensing Region
The bottom 2" of the sensor needles (marked in green) is the active sensing region. This region must be positioned in the wettest part of your growing medium, away from container edges.

Vero Active Sensing Region
The 3.5" active sensing region (marked in green) provides precise measurements throughout stone wool blocks and smaller containers. Keep this entire region away from container edges.
Critical Installation Guidelines
- Position the active sensing region (marked in green) in the wettest zone of your growing medium
- Ensure the entire active sensing region is fully inserted and not touching container edges
- Keep sensor needles at least 1 inch away from container walls and drainage holes
- Mark your insertion point for consistent placement after maintenance
- When reinserting after maintenance, choose a fresh location to avoid using existing holes
